Installs on Y-Pipe, Cat, and Full Exhaust

Im going to be installing my exhaust set up with in the next few weeks or so. I have a Budget Y-pipe, Random Technology Hi-flow cat, and full Greddy SP2 system (still waiting on it). I've heard horor stories on rusty bolts and I went to check mine, which I found out are rounder than J-lo's @ss. (I've got metal nubs) Will a dremel be able to cut these off and will the dremel be able to get into the possitions i need to cut off the bolts? Any suggestions for those who installed their own in a snowy and salt filled area like Rhode Island. if i had to bring it somewhere what is a reasonable price for all this work to be done? thanks for the help.

I had a local place torch off the bolts around the cat for $20. The rest of the bolts shouldnt be too bad, its mostly around the cat that are bad. Just make sure you got extensions for the bolts that connect from the ypipe to the header. It can be tricky for a couple of them.

I had my Y pipe put in today and I had to have the cat bolts torched off, they were rusted beyond recognition, not even jesus with an air gun could take them off. A reasonable price for everything would probably be around $100 to $150 for everything.

you will need to spray some WD40 or some super lubricant/rust remover on the bolts and let it sit for abour 10 mins before you attempt to remove them and you should be fine

I was actually thinking this too... I see your shaking head icon... are you just being sarcastic? (Man I've gotta move to a warm area without snow and salt)

also what size bolts (mm) are used for Y-pipe, cat, and exhaust so i can replace them, any good kind of bolts that wont rust? (Is there such a thing?)

My ypipe is all connected now, with my custom 2.5" exhaust with the Dynomax muffler (no resonator, stock cat) its pretty loud but it sounds nice. Not to mention the ypipe makes a HUUUGE improvement over stock, it was worth the hours of painful labor installing it.
