Max broken into. AGAIN!!!

This time right in my own neighborhood. Will post pics. This **** aint pretty and it aint funny. Its about time I invest in something heavy-duty, but I have no idea what. I already have a responder 790XV (Didn't wake me up b/c I was fast asleep after work) Any ideas on what will keep people out of my car , or just keep them from even considering it? Currently tinted @ 20%... they got into my ride and stole a floor jack and battery jumper, stuff they won't even be able to sell/use....

You can get those ALARMS that actually page you when stuff goes down.

My suggestion? Get a house with a garage. Or you can try just taking everything out at night and getting a unit with removeable face.

See you gotta understand if they want it? They will take it.

So either get something louder, move or simply take it out of your car.

Sorry bud

Actually, all I have is the bone-stock stereo. I was considering something high-end, but i think I'll invest in a gun first. Besides the tint and the shiny new spoiler, I'm not sure what attracted them- the car only looks clean at night...
At any rate, the responder alerted to the break-in and the alarm went off, they just happened to be too far away and I happened to be too fast asleep...

Go to Best Buy,in the car audio section you'll find car alarms.Ask one of the guys working if they have the Clifford 2.5 I think,it should be around $450.It's an alarm system, but the remote that it comes with shows a picture of your car,so it highlights what part is being broken into.It also vibrates and beeps pretty loud when someone is going at your car.So if you're sound asleep and your car keys are in your pocket, you should feel the vibration against your leg,if they're not in your pocket, but they're close, you'll definitly hear them. If you don't like that one,go to Clifford.com and look at the INTELLIGUARD 850...top of the line security, everything you need.Good luck!

Guys, he has a responder, 790XV, same thing almost as the new clifford 2.5/3.5, I thought they discontinued the intelliguard series and have the G5 now...

All I can tell you bud is tape the responder to your ear when you goto sleep next time, not much you can do about dumbasses breaking into your car. Except put bulletproof windows.

invest in a digital camera... or better yet a video survailence setup for ur car.. they are available.. but IMO go out and get the high end radio.. but build up a nice secretive system.. just have to hide it very well..

www.commandocaralarms.com

im getting the one for like $159, but i mean an alarm is just there to alert you to the break in...so if ya dont wake up..??

firearm you say? That i know about. I'd recommend the Glock 30, its sub-compact semiautomatic in .45ACP. Get some Federal HydraShock rounds for it and you'll be set to go. Just make sure you dont shoot him in the back! : )

Keep the ideas coming, fellas!!!

As for the Glock, I'd need something with more accuracy and a full manual safety (as opposed to the trigger flange, which I'm told leads to a lot of accidental discharges)

Kimber!!, the trusted 1911. Saftey and mad acuracy. Or do what I did and buy a remington 870 shot gun, glock, kimber, romanian ak, the list goes on and on. The hard part is decideing wich one to grab when your alarm goes off.
