Post Y-Pipe Install Check Engine Light

After installing a budget y-pipe, my CEL light came on. After driving a few hundred miles without the light turning off, I realized the installer never plugged one of the 02 sensors back into the harness that connects with the ECU. I connected the sensor and unplugged my battery to completly reset the ECU. The light came on again so I cheked the codes. 0307, 0308, 0901, 1001. All the codes refer to the oxygen sensors. I have since driven a few hundred more miles without the codes going away. I've heard that installing a ypipe may cause the CEL to go on, but I was under the impression that itd go off after driving enough for the ECU to leearn. The 02 senors worked fine before the ypipe. What can I do to make the light go away? I hate being robbed of power. Thanks.

correct me if i misunderstood, but you never mentioned resetting the ECU? i had the same trouble, i had to turn for 5 seconds, and turn it back and it finally reset the ECU and the O2 sensor 1001 code went away, i was driving wtihout the sensors connected in the harness because i never spliced properly. reset and that hsould defiantely wipe out the codes

to reset the ecu, u turn it once all the way clockwise, hold for 2 seconds, back to the original spot, then REPEAT those steps.
