muffler question

I currently have a Magnaflow street series muffler on my max and it doesn't sound so good. The y-pipe makes it sound a little better but it still gurgles and not loud at all. I want a louder, deeper tone but I can't spend the money on a catback. I know that the obx catbacks are pretty nice-toned, and they also look good. There are obx mufflers on ebay for about 60-80 dollars and i wanted someones opinion on them. Does anyone know how just the muffler would sound? With a budget y-pipe? THANKS!

Also, does anyone have any opinions on the Gredy SP "style" mufflers? Thanks again!

THD

The Greddy Sp catback sounds alright, but not sure of any mufflers. Dont spend money on jsut a muffler for sounds, maximas dont need to be loud, they're fine w/ stock system and a y-pipe

I understand, but I would like a muffler for looks. My magnaflow looks good, but the sound really just sucks. That's why I was hoping to find another muffler that is more aggresive than my stock, has a decent sound, and doesn't cost too much money.

i too out of curiosity would like to see how any axle back exhaust sounds with stock b and aftermarket y. would it be in the realm of fart-back classification?
