MEVI & JWT ECU Upgrade performance numbers
MEVI & JWT ECU Upgrade performance numbers
Does anyone know how much you gain with this setup compared to stock?
Is this better for a FI mod, or can we do it to a NA?
With the JWT ECU, will it raise the rev limitor on an auto as well?

Not sure what exact "gains" your looking for.
the JWT-ECU (na application) and the MEVI is not about peak HP gains....there is hardly any peak power gains to speak of. It's all about more power throughout the power band and the extended redline is the key.
The gains at the track are roughly about .3 and 3mph. That is what Nealoc197 got and Dave B got simialr gains. I myself did not have good #'s to compare it against so I am not sure about my actual gains, but I have ran low 14's and traped 99mph before. A 5spd max with a Y-pipe, MEVI, and JWT_ECU should see low 14's and 98mph with a low 2.2 60 foot. 13's on street tires has even been had with this set up (Nealoc197). So those are the kinda of gains that can be seen with the set up.
Of course the MEVI is going to be better with a FI car, just like any mod. The JWT-ECU that us NA guys use is not the same as the one FI guys use except for the raised rev limiter option.
Auto's can have the extended rev limiter as well, but I believe they have to shift manualy for it to work.
