i remember readin that some of ya'll took out the "ram are scoop" to free up room in the engine bay. is that all you did? i took mine out today and now the stock air box now has that hole. can you cut the "ram air scoop" in the middle before it turns upwards and route a hose towards the bottom(or anywhere) to suck in some cold air? i thought about this all day today but now my worry is, what will happen if it sucks up some water? i tried searching but came up with some off topic search results. all opinions are appreciated. thanks

I read about this mod the other day, and apparently you leave part of the stock airbox (the scoop feed by the radiator) in, and so this is still supplying some air. If the bottom hose were to become obstructed (ie water) the air would come from the easiest path possible, and would not suck up any water. hope this helps.
