I dont really care about drag racing. I mean, im not making any money from it. Plus, i dont want to run a chance of destroying all this work im putting in. It wouldnt be a waste of a turbo. i just want a powerful machine for my own driving pleasure and to have all the kids gawk at it. Who knows, i might need to shut one of them up one of these days. On a track of course. This will be alot of show and alot of go and hopefully a nice catapult for my car customization company im trying to start. Dont worry though, when im through with the turbo ill give you a good price for it.

in case anyone wanted to see my blacked out corner lenses, here goes:

i plan on buying smoked cefiros and blacking out the corners like this. you really cant see it well here, i but managed to fry the black glue molding stuff pretty well. The lens is all completey black inside and this pic was shot at 1 in the afternoon with full direct sunlight. they look alot darker in regular lighting conditions and it looks mad aggressive. my DC corners used to be tinted dark smoke, but i took it off cause i got tired of it. im gonna do it again as soon as i get my cefiros.

My dad is gonna let me use his table saw at his house this next week so ill be posting pics of my console pretty soon.

stay tuned.

EDIT: forgot to show the picture. Durr

Nice Wheels!
Badfish, How wide are you going with the tires? I was thinking about going with 235/40/18x8.5 in the front and 265/35/18x9.5 in the rear. I know that is a rwd setup but I want wider tires with a deep lip in the rear for the max

18x8.5 in the front and 19x8.5 in the rear if i can. i dont think there will be any clearance problems, but we can always fix that.

S/C kits can definately make it to 300 whp, and cheaper too. And it would be a better daily driver (no lag). Let me know if you are interested in a 350+ whp setup. I have one for you.

It's always good to have goals and aspirations, but things have to be realistic at the same time. I know that my car didn't come together overnight, but I also had a lot of unrealistic goals that went down the tubes. There are certain reasons why certain things have not been done and probably will not be done.

What you need to do is sit back and evaluate how much money all of this stuff will REALLY cost, because 12k for what you listed isn't even touching the surface. Obviously you shouldn't give up and throw a stillen kit on, but you have to weigh your options and whatnot.

I don't want to step on your dreams or anything, but if you don't have knowledge of how a custom widebody is built to fit a 4-door, how fiberglassing/framing works, how a suicide hinge works on a rear door like ours and etc.. you may want to do some looking up on stuff. I can tell you right that you will run into a really hard time ordering any kind of wheel to fit a custom widebody, because offsets and widths are hard to get right.

But, you can always hope and dream.. best of luck with the car.
