Intake question??

OK so i just installed a midpipe for my intake. before it was just the stillen high flow intake, then just recently i bought and installed the mid pipe that attaches right to the intake. but now theres a hissing noise comming from the intake. is that just the sound of the intake sucking in air? i dunno, casue when i just had the high flow there was no sound like that. i just wanted to know if that is normal? or maybe i didn't install something correctly? any insight would be great...

yea thats how the setup is, but i didnt buy the midpipe form frakencar. i was looking at those but i thought it was kinda expensive so i bought just a regular midpipe off of ebay.. and it seems to work fine, except for the hissing. but i guess its normal ... at least im not the only on experiencing it.
so i feel a little better...
