hot spots in instrument panel

anyone who says there are minimal hot spots with the 6-led bulbs from superbrightleds.com obviously has never put them in. i just put them in and there are HORRIBLE hot spots at 40 and 100 on the speedo, and at 2 and 7 on the tach. its awful! has anyone put the 1 or 4-led bulbs in? are they any better?

What did you expect with LEDs? There are wide angle LEDs but they still don't spread the light as well as bulbs. I have red bulbs everywhere you could imagine in my car(except dome and reading lights). I have bulbs in the dash and LEDs wherever scattered light isn't needed.

I have the wideangle whites in the car from superbrightLEDs.com myself, but the white is nowhere near white. It's almost blue. I also have a set of blue wide angle, and they are most definately blue. They aren't real bright however.
