well i finally got around to getting my intake on the car and WOW what a differnce. The weapon R was really easy to install and i felt an imediate differnce. My only problem with it was that the MAF adapter it came with was not pre drilled and i wasnt a fan of having to drill it, not did it come with any sort of gasket. other then that the intake is great.

It screams to life though the intire power band and is the gain in hp and torque is definitly there, im hoping to dyno the car shortly to find out the power gain i accutally got by it. Has any one dynoed after install of a weapon R. What was the gain?

 

you should see 2-3 whp. but yeah, i LOVE intakes on our cars, the growl is just freakin amazing!

 

im kinda thinking about gettin one, does anyone have a sound clip of it on our car, i would like to hear it.

 

go to custommaxima.com and listen to the injen (they have a clip of it). i know its a CAI but you'll get an idea of how itll sound. i also have a video clip of a place racing CAI, so if you want....PM me your e-mail addy and i'll send you that clip
