blue guages

what is the best brand of bulb to get the instrument guages looking bright blue???? i have decided to go this route for personnal reasons, no disrespect to the indiglos....also how many bulbs do i need?

Don't know, but doug was looking into how VW gets their gauges so blue before he stopped posting/got banned/I don't really know what happened to him here. Ask him on clubmaxima.com.

What?!?!

You come over... I show you my indiglos... you say they look nice... you were just saying that to make me feel better, weren't you?!?

I tried some blue bulbs. You need 5 bulbs. I bought some cheapo ones before, the kind that are just painted blue... not the way to go. They faded after about three weeks.

You gotta find the kind where the glass is blue. And if you need help putting them in, come on over. I've ripped out my cluster plenty of times this past week! And putting in the bulbs is about 100x easier than putting in the indiglos.
