glow gauges install
i installed a pair of reverse indiglo gauges and the hardest part was getting he needles to not stick to the guage. i had to remove the screw on the original guage and used double sided tape and now everything is koo. check out the pics on my cardomain site :-)
Ive had three pairs actually. Problem is with just OUR cars. Not only do we have a digital odometer but we have SEs. They make a ton of gauges for 98-99 but most if not all are only for GXE/GLE. Trust me, I have chewed out a lot of companies for false advertising.
My uncle tried to install my first pair that I got from EBAY and screwed up the needles and i had a shop install a set of Matrix gauges afterwards. I just bought a pair about a month ago for another Max and installed them. The only difference i had was with the bumpstop on the MPH gauge. I just made a hole in the existing gauges and relocated it and popped on the new ones.
Its not very difficult. You just got to be careful and not rush things. There are a bunch of how tos around and they give the general idea of how to do things.
Hope it helps
