NGK Copper V-Power plugs are $1.61 each on www.rockauto.com but you have to buy in sets of four.

I got PLATs for 9.99 a piece that makes them 60 dollars for a set. But you get the reliablity and the same performance as you did when you got the car.
Coppers are good but I couldnt go changing them every 15k.

My Nissan FSM for the 3-gen VE30DE plats are 60k. They might not be as new at 50k but you would think they would be okay at 1/2 their change interval (30k). When I replaced mine, the new ones felt just as good as the old. Meaning the 60k interval is probably short if anything. Plugs looked decent. Not carboned up etc...But most modern coil on plug distributor-less ignition sytems will do this.

You can get coppers from JRnissan for like $1.63 plus another 18% off with the sale30 promo code. Not sure about shipping (I picked 'em up), but that might be better than rockauto. Nissan part number is 22401-50Y05.

If you get the coppers you can afford to relpace them 4 times before they cost as much as platinums. Changing plugs takes very little time/effort. However, the plats are rated for 60k, and the coppers are rated for 30k. That means they will last that long at optimum efficiency, assuming you have no other engine problems that can cause plugs to wear out early.
Your plugs don't just fall apart the day after thier recommended life, so they should work efficiently throughout their mileage rating. Just get the coppers.

Can you direct me to a site that says the coppers will last 30k in a 4-gen VQ30? Not just the VQ power site or someone else's personal site.

Do the plats come stock in the 4th gens?
If so, I just changed mine the other day, and I don't know if the previous owner changes them. I have 90k on the plats that were in there, but I don't know if they were original. I doubt it, because they were not even toasted yet. 90K would be stretching it for plugs.
