i think ive got a problem, when i was driving on the skyway, my rear was bouncing alot so when i got to my destination, i checked it out, i pushed down on my trunk and let it go, and the whole rear end went UP!! about a Foot high. Are my shocks blown? Ive got Maxspeed springs and AGX shocks in my trunk waiting to be installed. So if there is a problem i wont need to buy any hardware. how much would install be around? i was quoted $206 total.

to test your shocks, push down on the trunk 3 or 4 times and then let go. blown shocks will bounce up and down, good shocks just return to original position. if you do the install, do it yourself; you'll save a lot of money.

yea i know. really bad bumps on i55 felt like i was flying.


i dont really deal with spring compressors as they are dangerious. but can comeone please share some info on how much i would be expecting to pay to have the springs and shocks? one place said they would do it for $206 no tax cuz it was just labor and i dont think that includes alignment. is 206 way to much? or is it about right?
