alright! lol i have a 96 SE and inside the armrest there is a cupholder. It has a lip and slide into place in the arm rest. Its removable so it looks like it would hook outside the armrest so u can use it while the armrest is close and not have 2 leave it open when u want a big cupholder. Am i right? I just want to know so if it doesnt hook outside the arm rest i can take it out. Thanks

Usually I just leave my drink in there in that holder. I dont think mine has a clip that holds on the arm rest.

I had one in my 96. Yes it looked as if it would hook on somewhere but I could not figure it out. I just took it out of the car.

 

I think it only clips to the card holder inside the armrest. You have to leave the armrest open to use that cupholder.

 

it only hooks from the inside of the arm rest thats so the holder itself doesnt slide around inside the arm rest. It does not hook anywhere else and if you have something larger than a can or a small soda it will not fit with the arm rest down. I took it out and tossed it in my garage somewhere two holders on the outside is enough..lol..
