I have a 96 Maxima, I have heard mixed things about a recall for this car. A few dealerships have told me I can get it done, a couple of others ran my vin and found nothing. WTF is going on. My o2 sensor is beat so i wouldnt mind getting it for free. Anyone know if there really is such a recall, if anyone has had it done in the NE let me know where and ill go there to do it. I prefer an NYC location but do travel to boston so anything on the way is fine. The code for this recall is P8132

Just call nissan HQ and see if your car is in the VIN range, mine wasn't.

Yes it was, FINALLY got it done and CEL go bye bye. It gave me a code for knock sensor and O2 sensor but i didnt change the KS and it still went off. Now i need a tune up
