CEL p0400 egr valve... change the soliend??? i was told

hey i got a cel for a P0400 egr valve.. and some one told me 2 chnange the egr soliend??? is this true.. i got 165,000 miles on her???

it could just be the EGR tubing is clogged. i got that same code, and had the tubes cleaned, and its 100% better now, the solenoid itself didnt need to be replaced

where did u get it cleaned out at dealer????
