Hayden tranny cooler hose size?
Got a Hayden 403 tranny cooler in the mail and I'm looking to buy the other 4 foot hose for the installation. Anyone know the size I need and what auto store sells actual tranny hoses and not fuel line hoses?
I went to PepBoys and they told me to pick out the size I needed from the fuel line hoses
I'll probably check at NAPA or something, but I need the size first

i believe you need the 5/16 trans hose. im looking at my reciept here from Kragen and it says 48 inches of 5/16 trans hose was $9.60. i just put in a tranny cooler about a month ago when i did the vb mod. i also bought 24 inches of 3/4 heater hose to use as a protector for the trans hose around the sharp places.

I took the hose that came in hte box with the Hayden 403 and took it to Advanced Auto. They had some tranny hose template in which they match the exact same hose up and gave it to me.
The size is in the HowTo for it too.

Got the cooler in the mail today. I was reading the instruction sheet and it said that if I wanted to replace a cracked hose, I should use 11/32" ID transmission cooler hose
It has to hold atleast 150 psi pressure and be able to handle atleast 250 F temperature.
