NEED HELP! Bent Lower A-arm, thanks to some PUNK!

To make a long story short this guy decides to make a right turn onto the street I was on, right when I was in the intersection (I had the green light). I had to swurve to avoid hitting him (cars on my left on a two lane street) and ended up hitting the curb. Now my front rightside rim is all scratched up and my lower control arm is bent so much that I have to steer to the left just to go striaght.

Here's my question: How do you remove the old a-arm and install the new one? I heard that I only have to unattach the ball joint, then the a-arm itself. Has anyone done this? Any input would be very helpful. Step by Step instructions would be fantastic! Please help.
