Error codes P0450 and P1446-Now what?

I found info on error code P0450 saying that it has to do with the Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor.
But I'm also getting the second error with 2 long pulses and then 15 long, which I think is code P1446, but can't seem to find much on this??
This last error started a few weeks ago with no noticable side effects. Now the P0450 error has started, and it's having a hard time starting....

Does anyone know what issues I should be looking for on my 98 Max?
Thanks!

0704
Diagnostic Trouble Code 0704 points to a problem with the Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor. The EVAPCSPS is installed in the purge line. The sensor detects the pressure inside the purge line and sends a signal to the Engine Control Module. The signal voltage is directly proportional to pressure. The EVAPCSPS is not directly used to control engine operating parameters. It is used only to evaluate EVAP performance. Therefore a car with DTC 0704 should start and run normally.

The EVAPCSPS is located on the underside of the car near the left rear wheel. It is mounted near, but not directly on, the EVAP canister.

This malfunction is detected when the EVAPCSPS sends an out-of-range voltage signal to the Engine Control Module.
Possible causes include...
- harness or connectors (The EVAPCSPS circuit is open or shorted.)
- bad EVAPCSPS
- EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve is stuck open
- rubber hose connected to EVAPCSPS is clogged, bent, kinked, disconnected, or improperly connected
- EVAP Canister is damaged or saturated with water
- rubber hose from EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve to the water separator
- EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve

This is the part of that description for 0704 that got me...

That's why I'm wondering about the second error code, as your detailed description of the codes article I found doesn't describe the 0215/P1446 error code at all- yet where you posted about "all the Code Scanner Codes Converted fron the Haynes Manual"..it is present.

Is this the one which is causing the hard start?
Shift_my vq seems to think it's the "crank shaft sensor for the hard starts"..but I'm wondering if that's an educated guess, or does the error code point to that?

Would the EVAPCSP Sensor and the Crank Shaft sensor go at the same time, or would an error in one cause a false positive error in the other?

Just wondering what sensor I should look at replacing first, after I have ruled out the other possible causes outlined in the description above: ie

- harness or connectors (The EVAPCSPS circuit is open or shorted.)
- bad EVAPCSPS
- EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve is stuck open
- rubber hose connected to EVAPCSPS is clogged, bent, kinked,
disconnected, or improperly connected
- EVAP Canister is damaged or saturated with water
- rubber hose from EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve to the water
separator
- EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve

Thanks again,
