does anyone kno how i can possible take off the silencer on a OBX catback type H....it just wont come off....im getting so ****ed off! please help org....there must be some of u that have the same catback as a do that had the same problem....please help...it looks so ugly with the silencer on....what can i do????

 

holy crap, mine was jigga hard to get out. did you get your exhaust from ssautochrome? mine came w/ the silencer in it... i tried wd-40 and two big pairs of pliers.. but that DID NO GOOD. okay let me tell you what worked for me. i layed my exhaust out on the ground, and removed that little screw that holds the silencer in. you know how in the silencer there are two slots which u can adjust the size..... i tied a string to a heavy duty strap and then put the string in one slot and out the other... pulled it through, pulling the strap through. then, with my exhaust on the floor, i looped the heavy dudy strap over my shoulder, while i sat on the floor, and put my feet on the exhaust hangers. then, your pretty much doing a squat but sitting on the ground, and just push (not too hard i hope you don't get a hernia or somthing) just make sure there's nothing behind you, cuz when that silencer popped out i flew back, so ya u don't want to hit your head going backwards. hope that helps.

 

i dint think the silencer would be this hard to take out so i installed my exhuast first.....now that its installed i dont kno how to take it off....i would do what u told me (aznsap) but my exhuast is already installed onto my car.....any one else that can help me???? if i cant get this POS off i might cut it ! last resort!

You're supposed to use pliers if I remember correctly. I hope you don't mind me asking but what does JLiusifer stand for? Is it your name or something else? Just wondering.

I though it had something to do with the devil. Either way it's spelled LUCIFER not lusifer.
