Brakes....right torque?
alright im gona take my rotors to get machined...hopefully i dont have to buy new ones after they mic em..
anyways, after you take off the caliper...there is like a brace that the caliper sits on....to take that off, there is 2 bolts that you have to remove, is there a set torque that you have to tighten these out to?
if so what is the torque? or do you just tighten them resonably hard with your hands?
Also what is the size of the socket i should use you to take em off? im asking so that i dont have to go under there and find out i dont have the damn socket, and then put everything back on....

the torque member (also called caliper bracket) bolts are 105-126 ft-lb (these are the bolts with the 19mm heads on the front brakes). The calipers themselves are held to the torque member (caliper bracket) with 14mm bolts which are torued to 16-23 ft-lb.
