trunk alignment

What's up. I broke my trunk latch a few weeks ago and I'm just wiating for a new one to come in. I also just notices that there is a bigger gap on one side then the other when forced closed. How can I realign my trunk?

I don't know exactly. I am needing to do the same. I think it is at the back where it attaches...you can take a wrench and adjust it back there. I know that you can do this on the hood too.
I think you just have to loosen both sides, and then slide the trunk where you want it.

Any more info from someone who knows more would be very helpful.
Thanks...

Brudaddy is right on point. You have to loosen the two bolts on both sides of the lid. That should leave you some side to side play. If not you might have to bend the arms a bit. I just put on a new lid last month. By the way Sk24iam. Your latch was sent out today. You should have it by Monday at the latest.

yeah, you can do the hood too. I don't know why mine is off a little, but it is.

My trunk got crooked from a little fender bender. I hated it, but no frame damage, so I am glad. This was back in January, but have just not taken the time to fix it. It is barely noticeable, even to me.
