I know by all logic they should be the same, but I wanted to be sure.

I have an project I want to try on my '96, and wanted a used dashpad to experiment on. if I come across a 97-99 before a 95-96, I need to know that it will fit perfectly in my '96 before I spend the money and start the work.

(dashpad = the large upper part by the windshield, with the defrosters and passenger side airbag in it)

Almost 100% sure its a 95-99 part. You mean the fur burger hunk of carpet you put up there to collect dust? Just kiddin....on ebay it seems its a 95-99er.

i put a 96 dash in my 97 :-) fits perfect. Btw, if you need a dash to experiment on, i have one for sale, ill get rid of it cheap, shoot me a pm!
