candlepower 55watt yellow h3 fog review

they suck.. do not get them.. they have as much yellow as the crappy new Hella yellowstars..there is a small yellow print on the ground. the rest of the ligt is a dirty halogen color. the NARVAS are much brigter and much more yellow.. im just scared to crack a lense on my new 97-99 fog lenses..

anyone ever try these?

Don't get the euro effect ones. They're not nearly as yellow as the Narvas. I've tried both!...The NARVAS are great, but they blow after about 6 months. I'm thinking of just getting some PIAA's.

I tried two sets of the Narva Rally Gold lights... the color is awesome, nice and yellow... but both sets burned out in less than 2 hours. And both of my lenses are now cracked because of them. I guess some people just get lucky with them and some people don't.

My PIAA1400's are awesome though, I love 'em.

my question is how to actually remove the bulb. I can't get to it. Do you access it from the engine bay? do you remove the blasic covers that are under the car? does the housing pop out? i can't even align it? by the way, its a '96 se.

I had these lights but they burned out with in three months. The color is exactly like the PIAA crystal ION.

I have been through 3 sets of yellow fog H3's, and the PIAA's are the ones that have lasted the longest. These ****z keep burning out. I'm just gonna go stock.

my narvas have last over 8 months and i have not cracked the lenses on my 95-96.. i havnt been using them cause i think they will crack my 97-99 fogs..the 97-99 lenses are thinner. look more susceptable to cracking.

i jsut got an idea..

http://www.lamin-x.com/ColorProtection.html

check that.. its a lense film to protect the lense. im thinking if you get the CLEAR ones u can keep the narvas from cracking. they crack because the heat is super hot and when u hit a puddle the sudden temp changed crackst he lense. if you have a clear film on top, 1 it holds the fog lense together better, 2 it acts as a buffer or insulator from sudden outside temp changes. 3 it protects your fogs from getting all those knicks and chips from normal wear.

i may consider using the YELLOW film and just being the only 4th gen max with yellow fog lenses..

if i can get like 5 peopel down to try it.ill talk tot hem about a group buy. even if you didnt want a color change.. protecting your fogs from damaged with the clear ones is probably worth the 20 bucks..

I don't understand how any of you can say the Narvas are really yellow. My friend just installed them a couple days ago. They looked really yellow during the day so we thought they were gonna be IS300 yellow at night. Well, they are, untill you move about 10-15ft away from them. They look white, no yellow at all. I kinda like them but my buddy doesn't seem to be happy. I guess we have to keep experimenting with painting the bulbs again.

to remove the 95-96 fogs.. you take off the fake plastic piece on the side of the actual fog lense. u either pull down or pull up.i forgot.. then u get a 10mm socket and take out the 1 or 2 bolts.. u can also use a philips screwdriver.
