A/T Shifter Feels Hard/Stiff

lol at the title...
anyways.. I just noticed today that my shifter feels harder to put into 1 2 3 D... Before it would be without any problem but now it feels as if theres something in the way or just harder to put into 1st.. From D to P it gets hard right when it gets on P... its weird I dont know how to explain it really its just feels if someone tightened the cable or whatever it uses.. Not really SURE...

Was wondering if anyone experienced the same thing and fixed it or has a stiff shifter.. etc..

My shifter seemed to get a little sticky when I parked my car on an incline. Dunno why, but it did.

Yeah, I did a 5spd swap like 3 years ago.

BTW, use your parking brake before you let off the brake, don't let the tranny roll into park or it will be hard to shift.

I have this problem but when I'm not parked on an incline. It just started yesterday. When I shift between D and N a couple of times it goes away but if it stays in D for a while, it gets sticky.

I would check out the Shifter cable that could be sticky or bent or something else, check it. If theis happends in all of the gears It could be a bad vavle body on the transmission.
