exhaust combo feedback

I'm trying to upgrade exhaust sys while keeping somewhat quiet aft 385k mls it needs replacing I'm thinking Stillen B pipe(has no resonator-$212) and 2000 SE muffler(dual stage?? $262). Any Thoughts or Ideas?

i had stillen unresonated b-pipe for couple days and took it off. it was too loud for my warpspeed y-pipe and magnaflow muffler.

You're getting raped on the muffler if it's $262. You can get a WS for $400 shipped so why spend that much for worse stuff?

are you saying you have 385K miles, just curious how does your car run, these maximas are awsome!!!. and as far as exhaust, resonator is a plus if you want things to quiet down a bit.

since most of you think its going to b loud w/o resonator on the B pipe maybe i'll stick to the stock exhaust and add the y-pipe......but will i still get the benefits of the y-pipe?

Y-pipe is the best bang for the buck! U can't go wrong. If u still want a b-pipe, get one with a resonator from Warpspeed or Budget. Toss on a Magnaflow if you don't mind a louder exhaust, or keep the stock muffler to keep things quiet. Don't worry, the muffler will not effect power, only sound.

hmmmm that stinks......i waited 2 and a half months for my greddy sp cat back and i think it sounds pretty stockish if your in the car. outside it is really smooth sounding. I have some video clips for it on my website. My intake is louder than the exhaust.

Just disregard what most of the rice boys here said. Magnaflow? Wtf? Get a b-pipe with at LEAST one resonator. Couple that with a SUPER TURBO muffler from dynomax I think(they had them for $40 at MURRAYS) and that should be quiet.

Its not loud at all.

Wonder what will happen when I stick a straight through on there.
