GTP CF Hood

has anyone had a problem with their GTP CF hoods.
i just bought mine yesterday, and it doesn't close tight unless if i put some pressure on it, by pushing it down, the thing is, i got a crack under the hood from doing that. does anyone else have that problem? if so, what did you guys do to fix that problem? please help guys.

you must have hood pins unless you are foolish. kinda like seat belts you dont have to wear them but you should.

example if the latch should give way ( some of these products are cheap and its possible) the hood will pop up on you, not to mention you would be stuck with a hood that wouldnt latch. which means you aint driving, until you fix it or switch hoods back.

sounds like the latch to me, maybe the hood is not coming down low enough for it to catch and ping.
