Getting Back the "PULL" (advanced question i guess)

SO Im trying to get that pull back in the car.

This is what Ive done in the last 30 days.

New NGK Plats Professionally installed.
New Wix Oil Filter
New Wix Air Filter
Used some over the counter injector cleaner.
Changed Oil using Castrol Synthetic 10w 30

The car only has 85k on it ans its a GLE so Im wondering what I need to do get that pull back.

(Later this week installing WSP Y-Pipe)

Im considering a Flush and Fill on the Transy as well.

are you using a stock air intake?

i would suggest either a short ram or a cold air intake with a K&N cone filter. that would allow more air into the manifold. and it would compliment the y-pipe nicely.

Check to see if you have a dead KS.

you had your spark plugs professionally installed? maybe try NGK Copper plugs they are slightly better but need to be changed every 20-30K instead of 50-60K

and pull the ecu codes since a failing Knock Sensor does not trigger a CEL but it shows up when you do the diagnostic.

and definitely get a CAI i have an Injen and it's awesome. low-mid is great

Or you can make your own HAI for about $20 in parts from Lowes and a cone filter.

you can make your own HAI with a cone filter and some duct tape. i used black duct tape and you can't even tell there's duct tape on there. tell people it's exhaust wrap if they ask. i'm dead serious though, CAI = waste of money. maybe you'll get 1 more horsepower than a ghetto rigged cone intake, but you'll also spend $150 more, and have to drill a hole in your car.

I'd suggest he doesn't. Keep the stock intake intact cause as soon as you get another intake the low-end pull you want will be gone. With the hybrid it will pull better up top but less power down low.
