I saw it in the new stillen 04 catolog. Plugs in the back of the ecu.

even if stillen did make an ecu, how would it be better than technosquare or JWT? without making the fuel mixture too lean, or messing with the timing too much, there is no way to gain substantial power from an ECU and still be healthy for the car. additionally, stillen parts are always way more expensive than competition, and how they SHOULD be priced. if they do make an ecu....why bother getting it?

Well because only 95-97 maximas can use the ones you mentioned without driving with a CEL on all the time. They'd have to have a spare, stock ECU for emissions and swap it out everytime. Also it's NOT an ECU, it's a piggy-back since it isn't a stand-alone unit.

ok...did i say it was an ecu? i said IF they make one. additionally, i didnt even mention what year ecu. also...there is no aftermarket ecu for the 1997, so you might want to know that for future referance. if no one has cracked the board for the 97-99, whats to say that stillen will?

Be quiet fool. If you had an ounce of smart in you, you would've known that early 97s work fine with JWT and TS, just so you know. What do you mean IF they make it? We all know they will, we just don'y know when. Did you even read the scan that was posted? It's for ALL VQs since they arenn't adding on a board to the ECU just putting the PRO between the harnesses. Can you leave again for a few months, it was much quieter without you around.

are "early" 97s ALL 97s? if you had "an ounce of smart in you," you would know that aftermarket ecus definately dont work for all the 97 maximas. if you know all about the stillen ecu, and thats its being made for sure, than why dont you actually answer the questions i posted? i didnt even talk about the VQ plug in...made no mention of it. im not even trying to start crap, i dont understand what your problem is. i might also add, if you like it so much better without me, use your ignore function....amazing.

WHat the hell are you talking about then? Everyone here is talking about the VQ PRO and you come out talking about a STILLEN ECU. Stillen never said they will make one, no one else mentioned it here and you come out of no where talking about it. Why answer your qustions when they aren't worth answering? They use the same method of tuning as the others, just play arund with the a/f ratio and voila.

I'm sorry to be the one to bring the bad news, but the VQ pro is only for the VQ35, not the VQ30. Atleast thats what they said when I called Stillen about it. If any of you guy's happen to have the new Stillen catalog, if you look in the section for the Inifity G35, the article fro the VQ pro states only for VQ35. But in the Maxima section it doesn't say this. That's the reason I called to clarify if it would work with my VQ30.

I like wasting my time on posers who act like they know a lot about cars when in fact they don't know the difference between a starter and an alternator.

To the guy who said stillen told him it's only for the vq35. That's kinda weird don't you think that you're the only one stillen told that to since everytone else who knows about it heard that all the vqs will be covered. Either way I don't care cause as SXN said before it'll cost an arm and a leg and knowing stillen it will make your exhaust sound like ****.
