Oil Drain Plug Gasket Size?

The Nissan dealer is unhelpful. What size gasket (copper ring) do I need for the oil pan drain plug?

TIA,

Doug

It's not a gasket so maybe that's why there were being unhelpful. Here's an idea, go to NAPA or AUTOZONE and tell them you want a crush ring for your oil drain plug.

Sure it is a gasket. Regardless, when I went to the only car store around here, the guy just told me to look on the wall (which was unhelpful since they don't list compatible car models) and said he couldn't look it up on the computer. And the dude at the dealership was just being a ****.

I think God just doesn't want me to change my oil.

These are the ones. I have quite a few of these. I went to the dealer a while back to get an oil filter and asked about the oil drain plug washer. They guy came out with it an said $1.79. I told him that he had to be kidding. I told him bought those from Courtesy for much less, he then just gave me the whole bag for free .

Yeah, I guess it's embarassing how much markup there is in auto parts. A parts guy once gave me 6 Volvo OEM oil filters for $8, when I was only expecting to get 2 for that price. That's why I think Courtesy is expensive, they only offer 15% which you can get at any dealership by walking in. There are others on the web for 25-30% off, I'm not gonna post the names again for the umpteenth time, since I'm not in their marketing depts.
