spark plugs
spark plugs
I need to replace the spark plugs in my '95 GXE Maxima. I am thinking about NGK because of their longevity and reliability, but I've got 140K miles on my car. I don't know how much longer I will have my Max, but I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. Should I still go with the expensive NGK Platinum? What are some other good alternatives?
^^^ what he said. You have to ask for that stock number exactly....they will try to give you BKR6E-11 if you don't watch out. You don't want those.
The reason you have to ask for that specific number is because the ones that they have on file for our car OEM is the Platinum. Although they are what came in the car...they are like $10-$12 each. That is just too much.
Remember, however, that you need to replace the coppers more often than the plats....every 30k miles.
