I used a similar product Opps be gone, something with the title Opps on it, in walmart, it was about $1.50. It works but you have to really put some elbow into it, plus I used some WD-40, cause it was subborn to come off.
Here's how I did mine. Take a razor or flathead screwdriver and GENTLY lacerate the surface of the goo. Then, spray it with Goo Gone. Allow the Goo Gone to work it's way in and then scrub at it with your cloth. For particularly hard areas, wrap the head of a flathead screwdriver with an old sock (make sure there's two layers of fabric covering the head) and CAREFULLY use the covered edge to work the crap off. The best tip I can give is to take your time.

Man, you just have to be patient with it. It probably took me a total of about 5 hours to get all of the gunk off. Spray the goo gone on and let it sit for a couple of minutes before you go to rub it off. It takes a while to get all of it off, but it looks great when it's done.
I also used Goo Gone. Its not something that takes only acouple minutes to do, it took me actually a good hour to get all of it off. That was with many sprays of the stuff and alot of elbow grease. Just use a rag and goo gone and rub away till your hands fall off.. I probably took longer because I had alot of gunk left after taking off the emblem.

I used the dential floss to get the letters off. I fire up the blow dryer and aim at a 45 degree angle at the glue. I heated up to a certain point and rub the glue off with a paper towel. Than waaahlaaa, clean butt!!!!
I used Goo Gone and a rag to get most of it off. A hair dryer would help a little too. After rubbing with Goo Gone for a while, there was still a noticable outline. I used some Turtlewax Bug & Tar Remover and it came right off. I didnt even have wax over it because it was completely gone. I got the Bug & Tar Remover from Pep Boys...its in a white can.
