To anyone who has swaped bulbs in there HAZARD SWITCH

I got the switch apart and now I can't get it back together properly....there is this piece of plastic that is all greasy and somehow it goes near the spring but I can't seem to make it fits correctly.....the hazard switch is supposed to stick when you push it in unlike the defogger....please help!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem!! But I think my problem was with the defog switch. They are both a pain to get back in. Bare with me...I'm trying to recall my memory. My problem was I had a little black piece that was located under the spring (where all that grease is) that just wouldn't go in to place. I was trying to make sure the spring was in place, make sure the black plastic piece was in place and press down at the same time. The spring would pop out everytime. Once again I think that this was the defog switch. Cant remember if it the same as the hazard. just trying to help. You have to place the spring properly first, then push the piece without the spring connected (part with the lights) forward, compressing the spring and then press down firmly on the same piece. I thought about removing that little black piece but I cant remember if i did. I know this is vague but it's hard to explain. I understand your frustration though
