clunking/grinding sound in front end
Hey y'all,
So I have a '99 GXE. I noticed a couple days ago that when I apply the brakes, there was a clunking/grinding sound in the front end. It also almost sounded like something was loose or dragging. Not knowing too much about cars, I figured it was just the front brake pads needing to be replaced (the car has 52k miles, so this would seem to make sense). I had that work done today and I've noticed that I can still hear a sound when the brakes are applied. It's not as loud and I would say the grinding sound isn't there, but there's definitely still an audible low-pitch sound that's being made when the brakes are applied.
Any thoughts as to what this could be or what I can do?
Thanks.
JH
