desperate for a sunroof visor, you guys think it looks good

I wanted to get a sunroof visor (as you can see in my sig) because I think it makes the Maxima look better. Am I wrong?

Give me your feedback. Do you think the sunroof visor makes our cars look more stylish? I don't want to spend $40+ for something I won't like the minute I put it on.

I would sell you mine, but last time i took it off, it took some paint with it, so i have to leave it on.

does anyone by any chance have pictures of the mounting hardware near the sunroof visor?

My car did not have a factory-installed sunroof. It was put in and done extremely professionally by a Nissan dealer. So I guess my other concern is the fitment of such sunroof visor on my Max.

Mounting is 2 little brackets that come from the side of the sunroof, They could put on any car.

Definitely. I've always thought the stock sunroof visor completes the 4th-gen look so nicely. It will make any 4th-gen, any color, look better, especially an SE.

It's also very functional because it cuts down wind noise significantly. I don't do it much, but you can drive with the sunroof fully open at highway speeds without much noise or wind at all, just a nice breeze.

I have one that I took off last year. I like the look of the car w/o it. I can get some pics for you tomorrow

You are in luck... I have one and don't use it

I think it looks cleaner without it. At certain angles I think it makes the car look stubby. PM me if you are interested and to sweeten the deal I am in Chicago.

Let me know.

Thanks,
Pat

way to loud, way to loud, way to loud,

Believe me its hard to have a conversation and the moonroof open with this thing on.
Oh youd think itd block the air. It more less gets in the way and cause's a draft noise more like a wind tunnel..
good luck though.

I think I still have one that I took off my car when I bought it, so it is in great condition. I need to check if it is still in my garage though, but I won't be able to do that for about 3 weeks (because im at school now). Let me know if anyone is interested.

my car had the visor on it when I bought it so.... I've gotten used to it.....biggest advantage for me is the visor blocks the sun right at the edge of the sunroof.... I have had 2 other cars with roofs and never added a visor to them..... I think the car would look cleaner with out the visor ...... but I'm sure that there is some paint diff under the visor since its been on there so long.... so it stays for now

I can't decide if I like it better with or without. I have one on there, but I also like some that I have seen without it. I think the car looks more sleek without it, but I have become so used to seeing it, it might look funny to me to not have it.
I know that it cuts down on the air that gets into the cabin, but I agree with the "wind tunnel" thing. It is loud.
I have a hands free kit in my car, and because of the "tunnel" (I call it that when I talk to people), I have to close the roof to talk. This might be the case anyway, but I don't know.
