Hey everyone Im lookin for a Y-pipe, I have a Stillen intake and Stillen muffler, and I'm considering a Stillen Y pipe, but I've heard that it isn't SS and won't hold up as well as a Cattman. Does anyone know about the Cattman Y pipe? Would it work well with my Stillen mods? I'm concerned with mixing the two together. Also, how much louder would it make my car.. THanks everyone....

I have a pretty excruciatingly detailed writeup of the Cattman Y-Pipe and some info on the Stillen Y at my site under the Performance Modifications section.

The Cattman y-pipe is definitely the better choice, if you have the cash....just for the sole reason that it is S/S it will work fine with your stillen mods, they are completely seperate items. It won't really increase the sound....you did most of the sound increasing with the intake and Stillen muffler, and if that doesn't bother you, the y-pipe definitely won't

Yeah, thanks, I'm planing to get a Stillen B pipe too, so it will become noticeably louder, I'm just wondering if it will become too loud with the Y pipe. Also, where do I go to get it installed, a local muffler shop? Also, can you really tell a difference in speed with it? Thanks

You can add a resonator to the stillen B pipe if needed, as well you should be able to install any of the three Y pipes, WarpSpeed, Stillen or Cattman by going to our website as we have installation istructions posted. They all install pretty much the same although I have heard the stillen pipe is difficult.

There are only 2 stainless Y pipes on the market, ours and Cattmans. I believe the stillen is cold rolled steel with a ceramic coating.
