Re: Red Turning signals

I was pulled over for having white turning signals... ( i thought they weren't allowed to pull me over for that unless I did something wrong, wreckless driving, speeding, or disoberying laws etc. ) i didn't do anythin' wrong but an off duty officer paged his friend to pull me over... since he was the one that saw it.... but anyways... right now I have the orange bulbs back in 1156... but i want red one so it kinda matches everything... so if anyone knows where I can get red 1156 bulbs it would be greatly appreciated... can't find them at auto zone or anything like that... (any online sites?)

Thanx for your help!

Unless your state laws are really screwy, general rule: they're the police, if you break the law they can pull you over, period. If you're driving 66 MPH on the interstate they can pull you over and give you a ticket for 1-10. They're "allowed" to do so because they're the law.

I assume you're talking about making the rear turn signals red. Just hop on eBay and search for "1156 red".

yea white is illegal. you really are not suppose to use what you car did not come with. Some volvo's came stock with white turn signals. I would just stay amber. to me it looks the best, and you do not have to worry about coppers.

i have red turn signals

get them on ebay from a good seller
i promise they will last just as long as the ones you can buy elsewhere
plus theyre probably cheaper on ebay.

mine have been in for 4 months an still going strong

check your local lighting laws though.

its illegal in cali to have them because some bs like only emergency vehicles are allowed to have red or blue lights showing in the front

but the back of course is ok

i got mine from pep boys. they are the kind that is chrome but shines red. it sounds ricy but its not that bad. the chrome color makes it look invisible from the outside similar to the way your clear ones were. but it lights up red. i think its called titanium bulbs or something like that.
