Don't need much to beat a 6th gen!

My brother took his car (acura legend) into the shop for repairs and got a retal 6th gen(auto). I was excited to race this 6th gen. I wanted to see what kind of power nissan did with the future maximas. Well to my surprise they didn't do much...I raced my brother on a straight away from a stand still 3 times. The first time, we ending up being side by side the whole way. He ended up beating me. The second time, we started side by side but then i started to pull on him. About 100ft into the race he was at my driver's door. Once i shifted into 3rd, i started to pull even farther from him. Before I knew it, i could see him in my review mirror. The third time, we both had bad starts. Once we hit 4-6 sec in the race, i was at his driver's door. I was gaining on him but once i started to creep up to the front of his driver's side wheel, (i guess he was scared of being pulled over) he shut down.

I really didn't think that i would have a chance with this 6th gen. I thought that i would have gotten my @ss handed to me but i was surprised with the rental. It was slower than i expected. I really thought it was gonna be faster.

Nice Kill, but the story would have been different if that 6th gen had a 6spd
But overall Nice to know we can still pull on the auto 6th gens

Thats a manual vs auto for you! Not to mention with your mods you are probably running 225-245 hp in a trim 3000 lb car vs 265 hp in a bulky 3400 lb car, the power to weight ratio of a 4th gen is amazing!

Now, a 4th gen 5sp vs a 6th gen 6sp would be a race to behold!
