hey,

All is did to my 99 SE auto was install new rear speakers today. I took apart the seats and everything. The only prob now was that after i finished installing, the car doesnt turn on and the steering wheel is locked. I don't know what caused this. Everything else works fine, a/c, stereo, lights and so forth. Only other thing i see is that the brake padel feels heavy and seems its locked. Also the car is on a slight slope, even when i put it in neutral it doesnt move at all.

Can someone pls help me out, as to what is wrong with the car, before i get my *** kicked my parents.

Nothing is broken. Just wiggle the steering wheel left and right as you turn the ignition key. It will unlock.

Daniel sorry, i didnt give the correct info before. The proper problem is that , i put the key in, the steering wheel unlocks, but i cant turn it, it gives me a lot of resistance and i try to turn on the car, it just makes fast clicking sounds.

Did you try jumping it? The car will operate all of those systems even though the battery is low, but not have enough energy to start. Assuming you have tried that, check your fuses.

This may be a symptom of a discharged battery.

I just moved to Stamford at the beginning of this month (March). I got the plates last month and still have it registered at my parents house in NY, so I'm going to keep the plates. Rest assured, they are real. I'm not going to the meet thought, I'm working when the meet occurs, and I work in Westchester County. The citizens of New Rochelle wouldn't be happy if one of their ambulances was in Brooklyn.
