Taking out the rear defroster and hazard blinker switches

I checked the how to's, and could not find anything. I am replacing the bezel/air conditioning piece, mine got scratched and it's an eyesore, to me at least, If anybody wants my old one they can have it for 40 bucks shipped- the piece is like 130 at the dealer. (it's for the tan interior. It's really not that badly scratched, but i am a little biatch. Anyhow, I took it out an was trying to transfer the switches from the old bezel to the new one. The clock comes out easily with two screws. the hazard and rear defroster are giving me trouble. There is only one squeeze clip on (on one side) you would think that there would ligically be two. but it is held in tight, even when you squeeze the clip on the other side. only one side releases. Help?

Squeeze that clip, the push out towards the front, just sqeeze, bend it to the side alittle and push, it will come out with enough force
