My check engine light came on yesterday and it was an egr problem. When I started my car the next day the engine light was not on so I drove my car to work. When I got home I decided to do the diagnostic test again and it came up 0505 which in the hayes manual says that there is no problem. Did I erase the code from the computer, if so how will I know when my egr problem is fixed?
