I am going to be getting the oem foglight kit, and i seem to remember seeing a thread about the install and something about heating up the black things that go around them, or something like that. however, i cant find anything on them. does anyone know the link to the thread, or do you know what i am talking about?

by the way, can anyone recommend some very good bulbs to throw in there? i am looking for something to sort of match the output of my headlights, which have the 80w/100w bulbs in them.

 

i know someone has got to know what i am talking about...

 

I don't know what bulbs because I use the 55w ones like the regular harnesses call for.
You know you will have to upgrade the harness of the fogs to use those kind of bulbs, right?

Anyway, on the heating up issue.....no clue.
