I'm looking to redo the suspension for my 96 and don't know whether to get some new struts and springs (probably the Koni yellows and Sprint sprigs) or some coilovers. I haven't seen too many coilovers around for the max. Actually just one, a set of Ground Control adjustable coilovers $389 shipped. Anybody have any idea whether these are any good? That seems awfully cheap. I was under the impression coilovers were expensive. If somebody could steer me in the right direction, that would be great. I want to spend around 600 but am willing to go higher if it's really worth it.

Ground Control

Ground Control are not TRUE coilovers such as Tein or HKS or Apex'i, they are sleeve style coilovers. they are an Eibach spring specifically produced for each application for Ground Control, with an adjustable lower perch (for height adjustment). Ground control also allows you to choose ANY spring rate you want, for an additional $20. They will work with both stock struts or aftermarket ones, but again, they arent TRUE coilovers with the threaded shock/strut body. BTW, i just got my Ground Control coilovers yesterday, have yet to put them on. I had Ground Controls on my old civic and i loved them.
