no only in wot will it be a loud growl but after that it will be fine....you will like the sound though.....more agrressive....what are you worried about????

 

 

do it! i just did it yesterday and i wasted half a tank of gas just geunning it to the grocery store and back home. i love it. if you floor it off the line, it hums to about 27oo rpms then it starts screaming to redline. during normal driving you cant hear it at all. its a real sleeper mod.

MPG will be the same unless you change your driving habits because you like the sound. A K&N Cone filter will work as described, just get a 3". Don't get the in box replacement, get the actual cone.
