Overheating When Using The A/C

I just want to see if you guys can help me verify what I think is going on. First off my car runs just fine right at the right temp if I don't use my AC, however as soon as I turn my AC on my temp gauge rises to the line right bellow hot. I checked and both of the fans were on and the AC was blowing cold air.

Now I think that I have a blown head gasket because the other day I floored it and when I did I saw a lot of white smoke coming out the back, white means coolant.

I also have a coolant leak from some where, I am pretty sure the water pump, but I make sure and keep my coolant level high and it was pretty close to full when my car got hot.

So what is the verdict, I am thinking that I need to replace the water pump and head gaskets, I don't want to cause I be poor. Would it almost be easier to get a new engine and drop it in. Well thanks for the help (I have never seen this one used before)

water pumps RARELY fail...if it leaks, just replace the gasket...

as for your issue, maybe your AC condensor is about to go so it's turning poorly making more work for the engine....

hope this helps.

hmm I guess that could be it but that wouldn't really explain the white smoke.
