Overheating When Using The A/C
I just want to see if you guys can help me verify what I think is going on. First off my car runs just fine right at the right temp if I don't use my AC, however as soon as I turn my AC on my temp gauge rises to the line right bellow hot. I checked and both of the fans were on and the AC was blowing cold air.
Now I think that I have a blown head gasket because the other day I floored it and when I did I saw a lot of white smoke coming out the back, white means coolant.
I also have a coolant leak from some where, I am pretty sure the water pump, but I make sure and keep my coolant level high and it was pretty close to full when my car got hot.
So what is the verdict, I am thinking that I need to replace the water pump and head gaskets, I don't want to cause I be poor. Would it almost be easier to get a new engine and drop it in. Well thanks for the help
(I have never seen this one used before)
