rear break question?? done the search

rear break question?? done the search

I did the the search and found the link on how to replace the front rotors
and pads, but for the rear "how to" the link doesnt work.... is the rear "how to"
different from the front? if it is, could somebody tell me how to do it please

the rear is basically the same as the front except instead of pushing the piston back with a c-clamp you need to turn it clockwise either with needle nose pliers or with a special brake tool that pits into the 2 of the notches in the rear caliper piston

Is the Park Brake pulling on the rear main calipers when it is engaged? Or is there a seperate mechanical caliper for this?

it pulls on the rear caliper, there is no seperate mechanism for it

Everything's the same except for the pistons are turned in on the rears. Go get 'piston turning' tool from Autozone.
