I'm sorry, but I forgot how to check

Since I had to remove my alarm system, I can't unlock my car with my python remote and I don't have the oem keyless remote. My question is how do I check if I can use the oem keyless remote on my max? I remember it's something about the s&c package or something like that... I can I check? I know this had been ask a few times but I can't search

i think you sit in the car with the doors shut and locked, and then turn the key on-off-on-off like six times in ten seconds. then something is supposed to happen. i think.

but dont quote me on that.
