Window deflectors?

Other than Weathertech, are there any other makers anyone can recommend that provides a good fit for a 96SE?. Does it look ok or crappy?

vent visor looks good too, and is a little cheaper than weatherflectors. If you want pics of the car w/weatherflectors on, check my page.

Both are very good with Weathertech being more expensive. I like the way Weathertech fits on our Max's, though. Chillin's look tight.

Although I think Chillin has a sweet max...I think they kind of mess up the sleek lines of the max.
I don't know.....just my .02

I have ventshades from Custom Maxima. They look prety sleek and are easy to install. Double sided tape. I think they also cut down on wind noise.

With the Ventshades, did you have to install them on top of the outer rubber window trim or were they fit in underneath between the window and the inner track? I like the clean look it gives when they can be intsalled inside rather than over the outside of the trim. It looks like Chillin's Weathertechs are installed inside the window track.

Yea, it fits in perfectly into my window channel, eliminating the threat to theft and double sided tape.

I am not a fan of them. I think they look kinda tacky- I used to have them on my other cars. To each his own.

Locally, I've seen the Weathertechs for somewhere around $110. I wish I could find them for 40-80 bucks. Any suggestion on where I could find them for these prices, Chillin? I think the Weathertechs are sleek and not at all tacky, just MO, but I have seen some that are totally gross. Some local ricers have those big ugly ones that stick way out and sometimes even cover the sideview mirrors. Now, THOSE are tacky!

http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/WEATHERFLECTORS.htm?

i called and ordered from them. I had a very good experience with them. I bought them for a bit cheaper because they were on sale, but i think this is 90 shipped.

if you have anything less than 20% tint, go with the dark tinted ones. Otherwise, smoke will do.

I liked the weathertech's because they flush in nicely with the window channel; not just the top part, but all the way down.

Thanks, Chillin. You are the man for helping me out. I'm going to tint this summer, so I think I'll be doing the dark ones, plus my Max is black, so they will blend right in.

Yeah Doc, they stick to the outside of the door. They mount just on the black vinyl above the window on the door. The shades require 1/2" double sided tape or equivilent to adhear to said surface.

Thanks Joe. With the Ventshades I thought that was how the install went. With the Weathertechs, though, they are actually more hidden and installed inside the track between the window and the outer window channel. A much cleaner look, I think. I appreciate your help with this, though.
