dry ice more performance?

dry ice more performance?

I was talkin to this guy and he had like a fabricated tray for dry ice and a piece of hose going to his intake pipe to cool his intake charge...any1 tried this??

If the hose was piping in the cool gasses directly into the intake, I would imagine it would have a negative effect because it would be introducing excess carbon dioxide, resulting in a less saturated oxygen content. One idea to effectlively cool the intake charge, set up a large Peltier device to chill all incoming air.

Now if you could get frozen blocks of Nitrous oxide.... that would be a different story.
